Are you Happy?

In a world that often tells us we need to constantly strive, achieve, and do more to find happiness, it can be refreshing to hear someone say, "I am happy because this is who I am." It may seem counterintuitive at first, but the truth is that true happiness comes from within. It is not dependent on external circumstances or achievements.

Are you Happy?

It’s a simple enough question, did it catch you unawares?

Are you now on the defensive? and asking yourself Happy? Happy with what?

It was a simple question that we each have our demons to fight in trying to find an answer.

Finding happiness can be a journey filled with ups and downs. It's a question that may catch us off guard, making us reflect on our current state of mind and well-being. Each of us faces our own personal battles and struggles in our pursuit of happiness. It's important to remember that it's okay to have moments of uncertainty or confusion when it comes to our happiness. By acknowledging these challenges, we can start the process of understanding ourselves better and finding the path to true contentment.

What if I remove the question and make a statement. I am happy and I am happy because:
This is who I am…
What bunkum I hear you call... how can this be... you dare to suggest I don’t have to do anything to find happiness… because I am happy?
OK so stop there… I feel your smile, I can feel the smirk creeping into your features and you are amused at the simplicity of my statement. Allow me to explain a little further.

In a world that often tells us we need to constantly strive, achieve, and do more. We decide this applies to everything, including to find happiness. It can be refreshing to hear someone say, "I am happy because this is who I am." It may seem counterintuitive at first, but the truth is that true happiness comes from within. It is not dependent on external circumstances or achievements.
Embracing your authentic self and finding contentment in the present moment can be a powerful source of joy. It's about acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses, accepting yourself for who you are, and cultivating gratitude for the blessings in your life. Thats's a great statement so let me repeat it: "Cultivating gratitude for the blessings in your life."
Of course, this does not mean that we should stop striving for personal growth or pursuing our goals. It simply means that our happiness should not solely depend on these external factors. By recognizing and nurturing our inner happiness, we can approach life's challenges with a greater sense of peace and resilience.

From an early age probably, almost as soon as we are born we are encouraged to do more, we are encouraged to constantly strive for more.

We have much to learn from the animal kingdom if we so choose, and I say that because in our struggle, or indeed our pursuit for happiness. We encounter many ways of blending our own energies with other compatible energies and we experience happiness, joy, glee, love and this causes our natural vibration to increase and attract beings of the same vibration and this is where the Laws of Attraction apply. (Look out for another blog on that subject)

The Animal Spirit Oracle deck is a collection of animals from the Celtic era, that will harmonise easily with your energies and promote this thing that you seek. Using one card per day will help promote a different perspective to the world we experience.

So if you find yourself feeling happy just because you are being true to yourself, embrace it! Trust in the power of authenticity and self-acceptance as catalysts for lasting happiness.
